Conclusions derived from conversation between murthy and his father

Murthy was talking to his father who was reading a newspaper. Murthy is a good student and hence he passed the IIT entrance test with flying colors. He wanted to continue with IIT. However, his father objected to this due to financial problems. This is a major problem faced by many families of the current society. Through the conversation, several conclusions can be derived. The following are the conclusions of conversation between murthy and his father:
Most colleges are quite expensive
One of the conclusions that can be derived from the above is that most of the top colleges of India are quite expensive. A lot of money is needed for a student to study in these colleges. A college like an IIT takes lots of fees so it is practically impossible for many families to allow their children to study in these colleges. As a result of this, many students who have high hopes and aspirations are unable to complete their wish of studying in top-quality colleges of India.
A large family is difficult to take care of
Another conclusion that can be derived from the conversation between murthy and his father is that large families are extremely difficult to maintain. From the above conversation, it is clear that the family has a total of eight children. While there are five daughters in the family, there are three sons as well. This has put an immense amount of pressure on the father. This is one of the perils of Indian society where there are innumerable families that are so large that the children of the family become a burden for the parents. Thus it is important to reduce the size of families.
Marriage of daughters is of great concern
Another conclusion that can be derived from the above conversation is that the marriage of daughters is of great concern in many families. This is mainly because many families have to pay a large amount of money to the family of the husband during marriage. In addition to this, during marriage a lot of money is spent during invitations to the guest, arranging for feast etc. Thus the daughter becomes a burden for such families. This is another evil of the Indian society. From the conversation between murthy and his father, it can be understood that the Indian society has to change in a manner such that the amount of money that is spent during the marriage of the daughter reduces.
